Webinar Platform Upgrade

We will shortly be upgrading our webinar service. Hopefully the following will answer any queries that you may have but please feel free to contact us if you require any further information.

What will be upgraded?

Since its launch in 2018, our webinar service has been hosted by Webinato. The Webinato team have now developed a new HTML5 platform called "Flow" which will work across all devices and provide a better experience for our users.

Why is the upgrade necessary?

On 1st October 2020, Microsoft withdrew support for Internet Explorer and Flash Player will no longer be supported from December. Like many programmes, Webinato was developed using this technology and for it to work properly a number of technical tweaks are required.

HTML5 technology works across all devices and browsers (although Google Chrome is preferred) and does not require Flash Player.

It also provides us with a range of new presentation tools to make our webinars more engaging.

Will there be any disruption to the service?

No. We will continue to operate our service on the webinato platform until the new Flow platform is ready. Once we switch over, you will notice the changed layout but there will not be any disruption to the service.

Will I need to download any software or app to access the new service?

No. The new platform is purely browser based and so there are no apps or software required.

How will I register for live webinars on the new platform?

You will register for live webinars in the same way as previously. Here is a short video which shows how the new platform will operate:
