Online dairy course

Our online dairy course is available at no extra cost to subscribers to our online training service and comprises 5 separate modules:

Module 1: Dairy Science

This module provides delegates with an overview of the chemical and microbiological composition of milk together with the main physical properties of milk which are exploited by the dairy industry to produce an array of dairy products.

Module 2: Dairy Technology

This module provides delegates with an overview of the most important pieces of equipment used in the processing of milk.

Module 3: Dairy Product Manufacture

This module will provide delegates with a brief overview of the processes involved in the manufacture of common dairy products

Module 4: Cleaning and Disinfection

Provides the reader with an overview of the technology, techniques and strategies employed in the dairy industry to ensure the effective implementation of cleaning and disinfection programmes.

Module 5: Assessment of compliance

Provides the reader with some guidance on the assessment of the adequacy of foods safety management procedures in dairy establishments.
