FAQ For Lead Officers
Q1. What should I do now?
A1. Please login to your “Manager’s account”, click on “Details” next to the name of any “FSA Pilot” nominated subscribers and check that their names/e-mail addresses are correct. Please notify ABC Food Law of any corrections. (andy.bowles@abcfoodlaw.co.uk)
Q2. When does the Pilot start and end?
A2. The Pilot will begin on 3rd November and all nominated subscribers will be sent login instructions by e-mail on that date. The pilot will end at midnight on 3rd February.
Q3. Can I access the training records etc after the pilot has ended?
A3. Yes, you will continue to have access to the “Manager’s account” after the pilot has ended and will be able to retrieve CPD certificates and training records.
Q4. Can I change the details of the nominated subscribers after the pilot has started.
A4. No, substitutions are not permitted once the pilot has started. Please notify ABC Food Law if a nominated subscriber will be unable to use the service during the pilot so that the place can be reallocated.
Q5. Can I access training via the Manager’s Account?
A5. No, the Manager’s account may only be used to monitor the training activities of subscribers.
Q6 Can I change the password for the Manager’s account?
A6. Yes, you can do so in the “My Details” tab on the left-hand side of the screen after you login.
Q7. How are CPD Certificates issued?
A7. CPD Certificates are published in the subscriber’s “Certificates” folder after successful completion of a short quiz. “Live” webinar certificates are available the day after broadcast. The certificates will also be made available in the “Manager’s account”.
Q8 Are CPD hours monitored?
A8 CPD hours are self-awarded by subscribers. However, we monitor the issue of certificates centrally and will initially report any suspicious or inaccurate recording of CPD hours to you. We may also inform the FSA of any such activity.
