Formal Enforcement for Port Health Officers
The aim of the course is to provide Port Health Officers with an overview of the rules of Criminal Evidence and practical guidance with respect to taking witness statements and interviewing suspects.
The course content also includes a review of PACE, CPIA and RIPA and how these relate to the work of a port Health Officer.
The course will be held at the Food Standards Agency's offices at Aviation House on 9th and 10th July. Attendance is free of charge but travel and accommodation costs are not included.
