Technical Officer (Food Health and Safety)

We’re seeking a very keen and enthusiastic officer to work alongside our experienced team to support our businesses and residents, in our commercial food and health & safety service and, as necessary, support our other EH roles. 

In return for the additional training and development opportunities we’ll offer, you’ll be able to demonstrate you are already on a pathway to achieving the necessary competencies to deliver food safety regulation, and to make appropriate health & safety interventions e.g. you may already have IOSH Technical membership (TechIOSH) or equivalent. You’ll also be able to demonstrate experience in a regulatory environment.

Most importantly you will be confident and enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills with a keen desire to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services whilst working to demanding targets with little supervision.
