Environmental Health Officer – Business Compliance

We’re looking to recruit two EHOs to deliver the Councils food hygiene and health & safety service, but this position offers you much more in the way of career growth opportunities.

Collectively the food businesses in South Derbyshire have been recognised for receiving the best food hygiene ratings in the country. By providing a balance of enforcement and business support, these positions will be critical in keeping these standards up.

Through our numerous Primary Authority agreements, we are providing additional services to our clients which gives this role an exciting extra dimension. This position will enable you to get involved with the continued growth and expansion of these services as well as maintaining our core focus on protecting public health.

The small team play an active role in an evolving range of projects to support improving public health outcomes, and have been shortlisted in the LGC Awards for our partnership working.
